Department of Radiology and Radiotherapy


Radiology is the branch of medical sciences that uses medical imaging to diagnose and treat diseases within the human body.  Radiologists use a variety of imaging techniques such as X-ray radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine including positron emission tomography (PET), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to diagnose and/or treat diseases. Department of Radiology and Radiotherapy is committed to provide education and training courses to medical students, interns, and residents in the educational hospitals of Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences.
