Population-based Cancer Registry Center
Population-based Cancer Registry Center of Hormozgan province began in 2014. As a research project, Provincial program of cancer registries identifies the basic data of all new cancer cases in the province.
The main objective of this program is to provide accurate statistics on the incidence, prevalence and mortality from cancer so that these statistics can be used in effectiveness studies and priority setting in the programs of prevention, treatment and development of basic and clinical research.
