Dr Javedan Message

Iran’s medical universities operate under the supervision of the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education. Dr. Golamali Javedan leads Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences as the Chancellor, overseeing seven vice-chancelleries responsible for various aspects of education, research, health, treatment, food & drug, resource management, and student affairs.

In our pursuit to honor past achievements and create a vibrant atmosphere, we are dedicated to fostering inclusive research, improved training, and service delivery to enhance client satisfaction. Our programmatic focus includes comprehensive evaluation systems for academic staff, targeted research, student services development, integration of education and primary health care, patient-centered health care services, professional conduct development through targeted supervision, international relations development, donor support attraction, and cultural aspects aimed at strengthening national and religious identity.

Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences (HUMS) seeks to elevate its regional and international standing in the long term. To achieve this goal, I call upon all university colleagues to join me in this endeavor. HUMS aims to maintain its prominent position within Iran’s academic community and welcomes experts with high ambition to contribute to this vision.
