Dr. Ehsan Ramzanian-Nik, HUMS Vice Chancellor for Education, emphasized, “Hormozgan’s successful experience in attracting international students can serve as a roadmap for other medical universities across the country.”

The visiting delegation, led by Dr. Mehdi Mohsenzadeh, Dean of Gerash University of Medical Sciences, along with a team of vice-chancellors and experts, discussed various aspects of international activities, including English-taught programs, support services for foreign students, and required educational standards.

During the visit, Dr. Ramzanian-Nik outlined the initiatives undertaken at HUMS International Campus, stating, “Establishing a structured administrative system, developing international curricula, and providing adequate educational and welfare facilities have been key factors in the campus’s success.”

Dr. Goklani, Director of International Affairs, and Dr. Reza Afzalipour, Director of Education at HUMS, provided detailed explanations on the recruitment, enrollment, and academic support of non-Iranian students. Additionally, Dr. Aghdas Dehghani, Head of the International Campus Faculty, shared practical experiences in managing multicultural classrooms and conducting specialized courses.

The delegation toured classrooms, student dormitories, and the educational and research facilities of HUMS International Campus. Dr. Mohsenzadeh described the visit as a valuable opportunity to gain insights for establishing a medical faculty and reaffirmed Gerash University’s commitment to launching its own international campus.

In conclusion, Dr. Ramzanian-Nik expressed hope that, with HUMS’s guidance and support, Gerash University of Medical Sciences will soon welcome international students in various medical fields.
