World Health Day, celebrated annually on April 7 and coinciding with the establishment of the World Health Organization, begins each year with a new slogan, kicking off a year-long campaign.

This year’s slogan, " Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures," emphasizes a year-long campaign focused on maternal and newborn health. It calls on governments and the health and medical community to intensify efforts to end preventable maternal and newborn deaths while prioritizing the long-term health and well-being of women.

World Health Day encompasses themes that go beyond a mere symbolic occasion and serves as an opportunity for the entire world to focus on critical aspects of global health, as highlighted annually through the slogan announced by the World Health Organization.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations on World Health Day to all who devote themselves to health organizations and centers around the world, especially the managers, deputies, faculty members, specialists, physicians, nurses, experts, health workers, trainees, and interns of the healthcare centers in Hormozgan Province. I sincerely pray to the Almighty for their continued success, health, and prosperity.

We hope for a future where no individual anywhere in the world is deprived of healthcare services due to poverty, helplessness, or lack of resources.
