The opening ceremony of the new academic year for  the students of the International Campus was held to mark the beginning of another academic journey. International students are regarded as valuable assets to every university, contributing not only to academic advancement but also to the enhancement of the university’s cultural and social standing on a global scale. During their stay in Iran, they serve as cultural ambassadors, promoting the exchange of Iran’s rich heritage within the international community.Organized under the initiative of Dr. Dehghani, Dean of the International Campus, and with the support of Dr. Afzalipour, Director of Education and Postgraduate Studies, the event took place on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the Farabi Hall of Shahid Mohammadi Hospital. The ceremony was held to welcome new students and officially commence the new academic year.During the event, outstanding students, including those who had advanced to the physiopathology stage and top-ranking students from each cohort, were honored. Distinguished guests included Dr. Afzalipour (Director of Education and Postgraduate Studies), Dr. Dehghani (Dean of the International Campus), Dr. Mohammadi (Faculty Member of the English Department), Dr. Togharouli (Faculty Member of the Social Medicine Department).The ceremony was held in a warm and lively atmosphere, giving students the opportunity to engage more closely and constructively with faculty members and university officials. Notably, most parts of the program—including hosting, Quran recitation, poetry reading, eulogy for the Prophet (PBUH), humorous performances, and other activities—were conducted by the students themselves under the supervision of the academic staff of the International Campus.In the final segment, students enjoyed an inspiring speech by Dr. Togharouli, followedeby an award presentation ceremony honoring the top student.s.
