With the efforts of the Supreme Council for Medical Sciences Planning of the Ministry of Health, the first workshop "Introduction to the Evaluation Indicators of the Country's Educational Institutions in the Field of Attracting International Students" was held at Qalb Hotel in Tehran. Some representatives from Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences including Dr Aghdas Dehghani, the Dean of the International Campus, Dr Kolsum Qasemi and Ms. Madani from the International Affairs Office were present at this workshop.

A field visit to the International Campus of Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences was conducted with the presence of the Vice President of Education of Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences and a delegation of officials and experts from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Gerash. During this visit, strategies for establishing an international campus in Gerash and methods for attracting foreign students were examined, modeled after successful experiences in Hormozgan.

In order to measure and review the performance of the region's universities in the international arena, the first International Council was held This council was held on Monday, 8th Khordad 1404 in Shiraz with the coordination and follow-up of the Vice President of Education of Hormozgan University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Ehsan Ramazanian-Nik, and in the presence of Dr. Amir Khani, Deputy Minister for International Affairs of the Ministry of Health, and a group of international experts with the main goal of accurately assessing the level of international interactions of universities, the number of research collaborations, student and faculty exchanges, as well as scientific and research achievements at the global level. Dr. Ramazanian stated that one of the reasons for the success of the International Faculty was the unwavering support of the esteemed university president, and if these successes continue, they will be fruitful at a higher level.
